Adalete Lopes Castanho is a multifaceted Brazilian artist, recognized for her work as a visual artist, systems analyst, pharmacist, and yoga instructor. Born on May 30, 1975, in Tatuí, São Paulo, she has been living in Loures, Portugal, for a year. She began her education at Francisco Vieira de Camargo School (1981–1985) and continued at Chico Pereira-Tatuí and Anglo de Itapetininga-SP. She graduated in Systems Analysis from PUC Campinas in 1999.
Adalete’s artistic journey began in 2005 when she created a painting as a gift for her husband, which sparked her passion for visual arts. Since 2009, she has been producing artworks while balancing her career in pharmacy, in which she graduated from the University of São Francisco (USF) in 2012.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Adalete is also deeply committed to wellness. She completed her yoga training with André De Rose in 2020, holds a certification in integral yoga from India, and is a certified yoga therapist by Joseph Le Page, Montanha Encantada, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The certification from India is highly regarded in the global yoga community.
Her wide-ranging experiences, including work at CEASA-SP, internships in pharmacy, and customized yoga classes, shape her holistic approach to life and art. Her artworks reflect her ability to blend technical precision with a profound appreciation for creativity and well-being.
