Adriana Dantas Nogueira, Brazil


She was born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.
Architect and visual artist, she has a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Architecture,
with an internship at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College
London (2003). Postdoctoral degree in Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon (2014).
Professor of Visual Arts in drawing and painting of the Federal University and Sergipe, Brazil, since 2003.
Art and architecture are approaching in her work, currently she investigates deconstructivism in aesthetics involving readings of buildings as concrete objects in the searching for the essence of the architecture and also readings of what is into the field of ideas, that is, since
there is only a project or designed, considering the ways of conception of the
creative process in art.
As an artist, she utilizes many different techniques as china ink, pastel, watercolor, pen, collage, and acrylic painting.She has participated in several exhibitions in Brazil and in European countries, such as Portugal, Spain and France, among them can be highlighted:2019: Collective exhibition “Painting Spain”.
